Rob Kneller Youth Past and Current Foundation Initiatives

  • Disc Golf Course

    18-hole Disc Golf course that sits on the Jindabyne lakefront just off Kosciuszko Road and Is

    free to the general public. The foundation is responsible for maintaining all equipment.


  • Jindabyne Ski Sale

    The Jindabyne Ski Sale is open to the general public to sell pre-loved ski and snowboard

    equipment. All funds raised subsidise the cost of school skiing for Jindabyne Central School

    and Snowy Mountains Grammar School students in years K-2 to encourage participation and

    exposure to the Snowsports industry.


  • School Sporting Equipment

    The Rob Kneller Youth Foundation partners with Keep It Cool to donate $5 for every tree

    planted to Jindabyne Central School and Snowy Mountains Grammar School to

    purchase new sporting equipment. Since 2016 the foundation has donated $5,000 to the

    local schools to purchase new sporting equipment.


  • Funding our Olympians

    The Foundation provided $2000 each to six local athletes to assist their preparations for the

    2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.


  • Snow Australia Futures Programs

    The RKYF subsidised the cost for local Jindabyne students to participate in the Snow

    Australia futures programs. Snow Australia Futures is an athlete development and talent

    identification program. Its aim is to bridge the gap between Interschools competition and

    involvement in seasonal Snow Australia Pathway Programs. The programs offer superior

    technical coaching and an introduction to elite sporting opportunities and elite sports people.


  • SBX Perisher Camp

    The RKYF subsidised the cost for Jindabyne athletes to attend the NSW Snowsports SBX

    camp in conjunction with Perisher Ski Resort.


  • All Aboard Skateboarding sessions

    The Snowy Monaro Regional Council engaged All Aboard to run a series of introductory

    skating sessions throughout the Snowy Monaro Region as part of Youth Week. The

    RKYF contributed $1000 to the costs of this project.


  • Jindabyne Rugby Club

    The RKYF made a $1,000 donation to the Jindabyne Rugby Union Club for the purchase of

    new equipment for their junior teams


  • NSW Biathalon

    The RKYF subsidised the cost for Jindabyne athletes to attend the NSW Biathlon training

    camps


  • NSW Cross Country

    The RKYF subsidised the cost for Jindabyne athletes to attend the NSW Cross Country

    training camps
